Project 52: Week 4

Roll #4 - Ilford HP5 400, Voightlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 II MC, Leica MP

I switched to a different roll of film this week, Ilford HP5 400. After reading multiple reviews on the film, I decided to push the film +1 stop, using ISO 800

This was my first time using B&W film, but I can already see the appeal of using B&W, particularly Ilford HP5, on a regular basis.

Chasing light and playing with shadows really made the photographs stand out in my opinion.

The results felt sharp & I loved the contrast in the photographs.

I will look at pushing the same film +2 stops the next time I use it. Iā€™m curious to see the difference in feel between ISO 800 & ISO 1600.
